Traveling north on 101 (from Ventura, Carpinteria, Montecito, and East side of Santa Barbara):
- Exit Carrillo Blvd.
- Turn left and proceed up and over the hill on Meigs Rd.
- At Cliff Dr. turn left.
- Holy Cross Church is about a block down on the left-hand side.

Traveling either north or south on 101, take the Mission Street exit and drive north toward the mountains on E. Mission St.. Follow it as it veers left just after Garden St., and merges left once again into Laguna St. at the next corner. Laguna St. dead-ends into the Old Mission property, and there is parking on the left. Walk to the Porter's Office, to the left at the top of the first set of steps that leads to the porch or gallery, and ask for the Friar's Lounge. It is well back, through an inner courtyard.
